Dr. med Klaus Sonnenberg
He was practicing as a E-N-T- Specialist since 32 years in Germany. He studied and practiced as a Allergologist, Diploma in Psychology and studied Music Therapy for 7 years. At present the chief of Clinic for Alternative system in Castle Windelsbach in Bayern, Germany. His interest in herbal medicine has made him to start Ayurveda at his center.
Vaidya Prasanth Raghavan B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
Who had taken his degree from the famous school of Ayurveda, SDM college of Ayurveda under Mangalore University in South India. After finishing the course he continued his studies of Ayurveda under his father the renowned Ayurveda Physician Vaidyaratnam Dr R.Raghavan, a student of famous Banares Ayurveda University (and the disciple of Swami Dathathreya) who had also taken his Allopathic medical degree. For over 4 years Vaidya Prasanth was looking after his family clinic in Kerala, India. Since 2001 October he is practicing in Germany. To his countable merits he had specialized neurological illness and had presented papers on several subjects in and out of India.
For him Ayurveda is not curriculum oriented and later to end in a job but he was born and brought up in a milieu of Ayurveda. He was able to identify 300 different herbs while he was in his primary school and was assisting in the preparation of making herbal preparations in his family own pharmacy. His deep rooted knowledge in Ayurveda and his compassionate approach to the patient will reveal an original identity of Ayurveda which is unknown to the West.
Petra Tsekos (Heilpraktikerin)
She started her Heilpraktiker course in the Hanne Edling Institut, in Berlin in 1998 and finished the exams in 2000. She studied Ayurveda in India under several renowned Ayurveda Physicians. Since her first education program in the year 2001, she had made visits to India for the sake specialising in hormon disorders. Since November 2001 she has been practicing in her own clinic, where she has the possibility from her partner to continue learning Ayurveda form the classical texts but also to use our own herbs according to the Ayurvedic principles.
Ayurveda Ashram Clinic
The Ayurveda Ashram Clinic is located in Bad Schönborn, Germany on the fourth floor of the modern Mikina rehabilitation center. Housing is available at the facility for the patients to stay during treatment.
The Ayurvedic Clinic is comprised of a consultation room for initial diagnosis, a communal kitchen where organic vegetarian food is prepared daily according to DATMS recipe for all patients, two massage rooms, a sauna, and three treatment rooms for the various oil and herbal therapies.
Patients are advised to stay in the facility provided close to the clinic. Yoga, singing, music, and meditation are available daily by trained instructors at the clinic and all the patients are encouraged to participate.
